TRAFFIC CALMING IN THE VILLAGE
Bucks County Council Highways Department have notified the Parish Council that a pedestrian crossing will be installed just north of The Green (opposite the footpath exit from Manor Close). The traffic island on The Green will be removed. The proposal for a pedestrian crossing in Fenny Road has been dropped on the advice of the police as it was thought to be too risky. In its place a Vehicle Activated Sign (VAS) will be installed in Fenny Road. 30mph roundels will be painted on the Fenny Road entrance to the village and ‘dragons teeth’ will also be painted at all village entrances. The work is expected to be completed by the end of March 2009.
