Dog Fouling
It has come to the notice of the Parish Council that a minority of dog owners/walkers in the parish do not clear up after their dogs. In particular there is a problem on the playing field and also in the churchyard where the waste bin has been used to for depositing dog waste. There is no excuse for not cleaning up as AVDC provides “Scoop the Poop” bags free of charge and these are readily available in the village shop. Those who do not clear up after their dog are reminded that they could be fined up to £1000 for failing to clean up and take note that the Parish Council will take action against anyone failing to clean up and deposit the waste in the dog bins provided. There will be an additional dog bin provided at the top of Church Road/Old School Lane in the near future.
