Just a brief round up of events that took place last year, in case anyone missed anything!
The Club would like to thank everyone who helped and supported the Autumnal Ball held back in November. The ball raised £2692.43 and along with a grant from Aylesbury Vale North Sports Council allowed the club to purchase new mobile cricket nets, wicket covers and a sightscreen.
Thanks also to all those who supported the Christmas raffle, the club made £625.37p which helped pay for new carpets and a television. This means that Sky TV is now installed so members are able to watch important matches and various sports on it when the club is open.
For those new to the village the pavilion is open on Monday for darts between 7 and 11pm when the team is playing at home, on Tuesday for pool at the same times when the team is at home. There is pool practice on Wednesday nights for team players and the club is open 7-11pm. The pavilion is closed on Thursdays and opens on Friday and Saturday nights between 7.30 and midnight. On Sunday it is open from midday until 3pm.
Thank you to all the volunteers who work behind the bar and to all members for their continuing support of the club. Just a reminder that most membership fees are due for renew on May 1, so start saving!
